Following on from his experiences in Belgium (www.BelgiumIsBoring.blogspot.com) join this country lad from Northern Ireland as he goes on his travels in the wonderful land of Oz. Pitch Invading at The Gabba!
Folks,
The wonderful sport of AFL is one of the few sports that seems to be in touch with its support.
The full time whistle at The Gabba is a chance for everyone to run onto the pitch and kick their own ball around.
Needless to say - I had to have a go at it....
Can you imagine this happening at Anfield??!
BTW - that was a cheap tackle, Lisa. Revenge will be mine!
Warning: This next scene contains some gratuitous nudity....

Viva L'Espana!
Congratulations to Spain on their victory in Euro 2008 - the best team at the finals won the tournament.
However - lest we forget - they didn't get much change out of Our Wee Country when they came to Belfast in the qualifiers!

Cape Tribulation is quite simply stunning. It has to be seen to be believed. Truly one of my favourite places on Gods, Green Earth - after the Antrim Coast and the Kop at Anfield of course....
More details of the road trip to follow - I've been real slack at this blogging caper of late.
It's certainly not because of a lack of stories to tell...
